Reading out loud to newborns can be transformative, but not everyone can afford new books. 

Starting in 2013, Turn the Page began a partnership with Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital to give every new parent new books.

Pre COVID, our volunteers would gather every other Saturday at two Roanoke City elementary schools to give out free books, and breakfast to the entire school community.

Want parents to know how important reading out loud is to infants and young babies, have their doctors make books part of well - baby visits. 

In 2018 we began a partnership with Physicians to Children in Roanoke helping supply books for all well baby check ups, ages birth to 5.
